Welcome to Gorbag Wallet ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our open-source wallet software and related services. By using Gorbag Wallet, you agree to these Terms.

2. Open Source License

Gorbag Wallet is an open-source project licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). You are free to use, modify, and distribute this software, provided that:

  • Any derivative works must also be licensed under GPL-3.0
  • Attribution to the original project must be maintained
  • Source code must remain open and accessible
  • No derivative work may be distributed under a proprietary license

The source code is available at our GitHub repository, and we encourage community contributions and transparency.

3. Use of the Software

Gorbag Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that allows you to interact with blockchain networks, primarily Solana and Gorbagana. You are solely responsible for the management of your private keys and the security of your assets.

You acknowledge that:

  • We do not have access to your private keys
  • We cannot recover your funds if you lose access
  • You are responsible for keeping your private keys secure
  • You are responsible for any transactions made using the software

4. Security and Risk

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible, and you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with using blockchain technology. The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You assume all risks associated with using the software.

We are not responsible for any loss of cryptocurrency due to:

  • Hardware failures
  • Software bugs
  • Security breaches
  • Loss of access to private keys
  • Phishing or other malicious activities

5. Data Collection and Analytics

The Gorbag Team collects data on new wallet public keys generated within the app/extension and uses that data solely for tracking volume processed on-chain with/by Gorbag. This information is used exclusively to understand usage patterns and improve our services. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information or private keys. The data collected refers specifically to the public addresses of newly created wallets, not any personal identifying information.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gorbag and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, resulting from your use of the software.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Gorbag Team operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the software after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
